People who drive, do they really have a driving license?

People who drive, do they really have a driving license?
India is country where people are 24x7 busy. Everyone are in a hurry but no one reach their destination on time. What about the traffic rules? It’s fun to break the rules by driving haphazardly and in wrong direction. Bus drivers, auto drivers, private transport bus and bikers cause major concern. People walking on foot path are not safe at all; they are fretful because they are not certain whether they will came back home alive. I am also an Indian. What about me and my family, are we safe? What about the general public who live on footpath? What about the GHMC workers who clean the roads every day? Drivers now a days are least worried about people’s lives.

On 12th March 2016; me and my husband where taking our 7 months old son to the hospital at SR Nagar Hyderabad. We met with a minor accident near Gangaram which is about 3 KM away from our house. The road is very narrow; the Hanuman temple committee near Gangaram have recently raised a big wall and have occupied much space, where it’s problematic for the vehicles to pass. Our car was on the right on to our left was a private transport bus. The bus was empty and the driver was driving the vehicle in such a way that the road belonged to him. My husband continuously pressed horn, but all our efforts were going in vain, still the bus driver approached close to our vehicle. The unresponsive driver hit our car; our mirror was dashed to pieces, my husband instantly took a right turn, and by god’s grace we did not hit the divider on the highway. I asked my husband to overtake and stop the bus. All of us were in a shock. I took my son and got out of the car and began shouting at the bus driver; my husband went inside the bus and took the drivers mobile and asked me to get into car. To my surprise no one came for help. We searched for the traffic police who was on duty that time. We explained the whole event to the traffic police, then he called for the patrolling unit. The police arrived and they came to know that, it was bus drivers fault. The driver was drunk and was shaking out of fear. He gave us the compensation and the police asked us not to make this a big issue as it was a minor accident.

Very next day me and my husband could have met with another accident. We both were on scooty and where returning home from BHEL. My husband was driving close to the divider on the highway, still the TSRTC bus driver did not find enough space to drive the bus. There were no other vehicles on the road. He would have hit us. I guess the bus drivers are only able to see what is in front of them, and not on the sides or else they are sightless. Who is giving license to these drivers? License of these drivers should be cancelled immediately and should be punished.

Another incident a GHMC worker was killed by the TSRTC government bus on 21 march 2016. 10 lakhs compensation will be given to her family. What about the lady who lost her life, will 10 lakhs bring her back from death? No, right. What about the driver, did police take action against him? There are no strict rules in India; that’s is the reason why everyone are breaking it.

The people who come to visit India are in a shock to see such a bad traffic and are scared to cross the road. I am really ashamed of myself to be in India, were traffic rules are not obeyed. Hope things change in future.

Teacher and her Qualification

MY QUALIFACTION

Schools are considered to be the basis for education for laying down pillars for future studies. Teachers in schools are the “sun” where children are the “planets” who revolve around the sun persistently and receive knowledge. Now a day it is compulsory for the teachers in India to do B.Ed (bachelors in education). There are lots of advantages for the students who go into education field. But there is a hurdle when it comes to qualification alone. The education that one completes should follow an order. I mean to say that if I choose biology during my schooling then I will have to choose biology related subjects for my graduation then for post graduation.

I am facing a lot of difficulties presently due to my messy qualification, but it’s not messy at all. During schooling I chose biology and then did my graduation in speech language pathology and audiology. Then I did my masters on fine arts. Then I completed bachelors in education for the subject’s biological sciences and English. Now the question arises, what is the connection between the graduation and post graduation on the topics that I have done? I face this question each and every time.

Teaching and making kids and adults who are differently abled is not an easy task, lot of patience and time is required for the therapist to achieve a small short term or long term goal. It is easy to teach children using multi sensory approach. This can be achieved when they are taught using computers. There are many flash programmes which help the kids to learn by seeing, hearing and the kids can utter the word back using microphone, the computer tells the kid whether the utterance is correct or wrong. More involvement is obtained when weigh against to traditional oral teaching. It is better when compared to therapy kit. I love to teach kids who are differently abled, it gives me happiness and satisfaction when I achieve my desired goals and notice progress in them.

Now coming on to my post graduation in fine arts, I chose animation and content management as core subject. I can create different animations i.e. both 3D and 2D. I will be able to create flash learning tutorial programmes where in I can use them to teach normal and differently abled children.

For teaching of course I need B.Ed. Teaching kids or sharing knowledge is something which gives me more satisfaction. Hope the future generation kids, parents and recruiters realize the fact that many courses are interrelated. It’s up to them to see the connection and go forward without bearing doubt in their mind.

Define perfection? Role of Peace education in young minds

Define perfection? Role of Peace education in young minds

It is not easy to find a swift and easy course for better living. Life is full of hurdles. Our everyday subsistence is a drama were we are the actors; this is a naked truth which cannot be erased. In our life there are memories which would have created a deep scar. We try to keep them concealed in our subconscious mind. No matter how much you push them or try to forget them still it keeps haunting you. Then how can you define the term perfection? Nobody is perfect in this world. It is through mistakes that each and every living organism learn to live and survive.

Several negative qualities in us are the root cause for our problems. Ego, anger, hatred, frustration, irritability etc. are few of them. At some point of our life, people get fed up of themselves and crave for self realization. This happens in only 4% of the entire population; rests of them are indulged in their own activities which please them and make them joyful for the time being. They will never get self satisfaction in what they do. Their needs and wants are never ending, I am one of them.
Can education give us perfection?

According to me, education is a source which makes an illiterate individual literate. Just education is not important for our life; of course we need information to know things happening around us or around the world. Video games, mobile, internet etc gives us various information which are good as well as bad. A child blindly absorbs all these without segregating the information obtained from different media. Unknowingly seeds of negative qualities are sown in the budding minds. Thus concept of peace education should be introduced in each and every school all over India.

Peace education is a rich and dominant source of education which mainly targets school children in developing their personality, attitudes, skills which centre their ideas and thoughts in bringing about a culture of peace. At present our society, our country are surrounded by violence in various forms. Children are also exposed to various medium like TV, radio, internet, video games which contains brutal images, violent scenes, hatred etc, in order to cultivate and promote culture of peace, education given to children should be moulded in a such a way that students begin to realize what is good and bad, there by developing critical thinking as they are the key to the future.

I have written an international paper on “peace education through fine arts among school children”. Peace education can be taught in a creative and in an artistic approach in the various art forms such as paintings, sculptures, architecture, music and poetry which are collectively known as fine arts. Through the arts, children can learn how to express their unique identities, simultaneously developing habits of mind that will bring triumph anywhere, from the playground to the place of work.

A child generally loves to draw pictures of parents, objects, individual experiences and things he/she usually observes. These observed illustrations are delineated in the form of line diagrams or scribbles. Colors and the matter sketched also play a key role in identifying child’s thoughts. From these sketches and scribbles, a teacher can effortlessly spot the mindset of a child. Most of the children who are affected and troubled by the violent scenes, images cannot critically analyse goodness as they lack focus. Through fine arts children will get to know about, culture, tradition and history, this will help them to lead a better life. History can teach them to avoid mistakes done in the past; culture and tradition promote different practices which are being followed for generations which will steer them to appreciate the hidden values and to develop a culture of peace.

“Violence to peace”

My world needs to transform. I see death and no living. Thorns of violence in various forms altered the whole world into ruthless blood suckers. Do they understand the meaning of words peace and freedom? No, I need to see a different world, where there is peace and harmony. Where people are free to go anywhere; where there is life. Sun does not set forever there is always a raising sun which brings new hopes to the living. Let peace slash away all the thorns of violence and bring peace and happiness among people.
